Pricing and Costs

Raising a litter responsibly costs far more than people often realize. Between quality dog food, vet visits, cleaning supplies, and everyday puppy care, expenses add up quickly.

Before a litter is even planned, our breeding dogs go through genetic and OFA health testing to screen for hereditary conditions and confirm they're sound to breed. This testing is one of the biggest markers of a responsible breeding program — and one of the first things cut by breeders trying to keep costs low. Some of our dogs were imported as well, which brings its own costs and care into building the lines we're proud of.

Each puppy is also pre-registered with AKC, dewormed, vet-checked, and cared for individually before ever going home.

All of this is reflected in our pricing. It costs more to do it right — but it means healthier puppies and greater peace of mind for you.

Health Guarantee

Short-Term Health Guarantee

Each puppy is examined by a licensed veterinarian and found to be in good health prior to going home, with all immunizations up to date. Buyers are asked to have the puppy examined by their own veterinarian within 72 hours of pick-up. If a licensed vet finds the puppy to be unhealthy or unfit for purchase within that window, the puppy may be returned for a full refund of the purchase price. This guarantee does not cover minor, common puppy ailments (such as upper respiratory infections, allergic reactions, stress-related diarrhea, parasites, UTIs, or umbilical hernias) or any issues caused by the stress of transport.

Long-Term Health Guarantee

We provide a 3-year health guarantee from the puppy's date of birth against debilitating congenital conditions, including epilepsy, progressive retinal atrophy, congenital methemoglobinemia, degenerative myelopathy, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, GM2, juvenile cataracts, osteochondrodysplasia, and Von Willebrand Disease 1. (This guarantee does not cover Addison's disease, thyroid issues, hypoglycemia, bloat, dental issues, or skin problems/allergies.)

Insurance
Every puppy goes home with 30 days of free Trupanion pet insurance, with coverage available immediately — even up to 24 hours before pick-up, to cover anything that might happen during transport.

Desmond Majestic Embrace MEDIUM IMPORT LINE POODLE

Desmond is the last available puppy from his litter, and he is ready to go home now. Our home has gone quiet these last few weeks as one by one his brothers and sisters found their families. His smaller brother is staying with us, so the two of them still get to play together every day, and watching that bond makes it all the more clear how much Desmond deserves a family of his own to pour that same joy into.

He came into the world as the calm one, tucked quietly into a litter of eight, taking his time to watch the world before joining in. That watchfulness is still part of him. Desmond is a touch timid at first meeting, the kind of pup who needs a beat to size you up before he decides you're safe. But give him that beat, and something shifts. A spark comes out, a playfulness, a warmth that has a way of winning over everyone who spends real time with him. Cuddle him once and he leaves a fuzzy feeling in your heart that stays with you.

Desmond is named for Desmond Doss, the WWII Army medic whose courage and unwavering faith saved dozens of lives on Okinawa without ever carrying a weapon. His story, told in the film Hacksaw Ridge, left a lasting mark on our family and our faith, and we wanted that same quiet conviction and strength carried in this puppy's name.

He is fine boned, expected to land right around 16 inches full grown. He is simply not as large as some of our other medium males, who run 18 to 19 inches, and is closer in size to our medium females. His father is 18 inches, and his paternal grandfather, a mini champion from Shiann poodles, was mini sized, giving Desmond a nice blend of that lineage. He carries himself with a quiet elegance. Don't let his frame fool you though, he is healthy and sturdy, and would make a great companion for outdoor adventures right alongside quieter, gentler days at home.

Desmond's parents are both CHIC certified and health tested to the breed's highest standard, and his pedigree carries real depth on both sides. We are not looking for a show home for this boy, just a nice, loving pet home where he can be cherished for exactly who he is. What matters most for Desmond is a family who will slow down long enough to earn his trust, and who will love the tender, watchful boy underneath.

We are located in Licking, Missouri, and offer free pickup in Houston, MO and Rolla, MO. Vehicle delivery is also available for an additional fee, and we're happy to arrange meeting halfway. We also deliver to the St. Louis airport, where he can fly with you in the cabin, often the most affordable option for families further away.

Samuel of Shiloh Majestic Embrace Miniature Poodle

Samuel of Shiloh Majestic Embrace carries a name rooted in Scripture, dedicated to God from a young age and raised at Shiloh under the priest Eli, where he grew into one of Israel's great prophets. It's a fitting name for this boy, who takes after his grandfather, a national champion mini poodle out of North Carolina known by the call name Puzzle, and who we believe carries real promise for the future.

Samuel is a beautiful red boy who is, quite simply, the picture of perfection at this age. He is the only mini in this litter, and he shows genuine show potential.

What makes Samuel truly special is his pedigree. His father is Angelo of Shiloh, known simply as Shiloh, our own boy, and Shiloh's father, Puzzle, is a national mini champion, giving Samuel a direct line to proven miniature show quality just one generation back.

Samuel is expected to fall within mini size, likely under 15 inches, though as our only mini from this litter, we don't have a precise size estimate yet and are watching his growth closely. We'll share updates as he develops.

Samuel's parents are both CHIC certified, health tested to the highest standard the breed offers, and both are known for their loving, gentle, submissive temperaments. That combination of proven health, correct type, and show-quality breeding is exactly what makes a puppy like this so rare.
